DVR – Piston and Rod Hydraulic Seals Vee Packing

Vee packing (or V- packing) is a multi-lip seal consisting of a set of endless rings that are widely used for sealing rods and pistons. They are used in low pressure or high pressure applications as well as single or double acting cylinders. V-packing is a highly adaptable sealing product. It is commonly used in adjustable gland applications such as telescopic truck hoists, pumps and valves. Vee packing consists of top and bottom components with different numbers of center vees. It can be optimized by changing materials to accommodate different chemicals, temperatures and pressures. The pressure rings do the sealing. The number of pressure rings determines the amount of pressure they will contain.

The material of construction also defines the capability of the set including abrasion, friction, temperature and presure resistance all will be effected based on what the set is made from. We offer a wide range of materials including NBR, NBR fabric, PTFE, NBR,POM,Nylon etc.
